My Hometown　　

My hometown is Changzhou. Changzhou is very natural and beautiful in the past. Now it has become a modern city.　　

As a small town, it has a history of over two hundred years. However, more than twenty years ago, it was still a poor town. It was very difficult to go outside because there were few roads. People here lived a simple and very poor life. Since 1980 great changes have taken place here. In the past, people had to walk or ride horses to visit their friends. Now people can take many other kinds of transport. Some people even drive their own cars. If you don’t have a car or the place is not very far away, a trip by bus is also a good choice.　　

And the government has built a new park in the centre of the city over the past few years. The park named HongMei Park. It has become a new tourist attraction in Changzhou.　　

The changes to Changzhou have brought many advantages, but they also caused many problems for people. There are fewer trees, and the environment is not as good as before. However, I feel happy because the changes have brought me a modern life.　　

I like my hometown—Changzhou.

My hometown　　

My hometown is Changzhou. It is very big, and it has a long history. There have also been a lot of changes in Changzhou over the years.　　

In the past Changzhou was natural and beautiful. There were many rivers, tall trees and beautiful flowers. People all liked the fresh air very much. There were a few schools in Changzhou. And the schools were very small. People could only go to some place on foot or by bicycle. People also didn’t have enough food to eat.　　

But now things have changed a lot. There are more and more new parks, buildings, shops and roads. There is a new highway, too. Schools are bigger and more modern than before. We have many classrooms, computer-rooms, a library and a large playground. We can go to school by bus or by car. People can travel to Changzhou by coach, taxi or train. It’s much easier and faster. People now live in new flats. It’s very comfortable. But the Changes have caused many problems, too. The environment is not as good as before.　　

I hope Changzhou will get better and better in the future

I live in a beautiful town in Changzhou. My hometown is very big. It has a lot of interesting places.　　

In the past it was a small town. People lived a poor life. Most of them lived in small and old houses. Pollution was very serious, and few people came here.　　

But now, great changes have taken place in my hometown. The environment is getting nicer and nicer. There is a new park in the centre of town. Everyday a lot of people come here to dance. Children also can play basketball. The rivers are cleaner and the sky is much bluer. There are trees, flowers and grass anywhere. People live a better life. Most of them have moved into new flats. The buildings in Changzhou are very large and bright. Many people have their own cars.　　

I’m sure my hometown will become better and better in the future. I love my hometown.

My hometown　　

My hometown is a beautiful city—Changzhou. It’s a large city in Jiangsu Province.　　

First, Changzhou has a history of 2,500 years. There are old but nice houses here. People here built many houses and bridges. Some are small and short, some are very long. The bridges are very beautiful. In the evening you can count the moon and stars in the rivers. 　　

Changzhou is also a modern city. There are lots of tall buildings, large shopping mall and large factories. There are many roads here. It’s very easy for people to go to work. In the past Changzhou was very poor. It was very difficult to go outside because there were few roads. However, my hometown has changed a lot over the years. It’s easy to go outside now.　　

Oh, there's something that I have to say. Changzhou is also a good place to travel. You can have a good time if you come to Changzhou. There are many nice parks here, such as Hongmei Park, Qingfeng Park.　　

This is Changzhou—a city that I’m proud to live in such a beautiful city.

Today I borrowed a book about my hometown’s past and present. I know a lot from the book.　　

My hometown was a small village in the past. There were many trees and lots of grass. The air was fresh and water was clean. When people travel to and from here, they could only take the bicycle or walked.　　

Things have changed a lot. Many new roads and buildings have been built. Many buses pass here and some people have their own cars. Life is better now than before. However, there are also many factories and they dump the waste into the river. The poison in the waste has polluted the river. The water is not clean any more. Luckily, the government have realized the problem and taken action to reduce the pollution. 　　

More and more people like the changes because the changes have brought them a modern life.

Changzhou is my hometown. It was a small city in the past. People lived in old and low houses. The streets were dirty and there were few trees on both sides of the streets. Most of people walked to school or work. There was also little pollution and the air was fresh.　　

Things have changes a lot over the years. There are many tall buildings there. The street is clean and wide. There are many trees and flowers in the streets. Now people can take a bus, a taxi, or a train to and from there. There are many factories in the city. However, changes have caused many problems. The air is not as fresh as before the water is not clean any more.　　

It has many places to visit, such as Hongmei Park, Qingfeng Park, China Dinosaur Park, Tianmu Lake, Yancheng zoo and Yancheng Park and so on.　　

I love my hometown very much.

My hometown is Changzhou. It’s a beautiful and clean city. In the past Changzhou was a small and beautiful city. There were green trees, colourful flowers and a lot of wildlife. Things have changed a lot over the years. Changzhou has become a large modern city.　　

In the past people could only go to Changzhou by bike or on foot, but now people can take the buses, the coaches and taxi to and from Changzhou. A new airport has been in use since 2010. There are also many shopping centres, theaters and museums in Changzhou. People can go there to spend their weekend holiday. However, the changes also have brought many problems. There are fewer trees and the water has become dirtier. So, we should try our best to reduce the pollution.　　

I hope Changzhou will be stronger and stronger in the future.

I live in Changzhou. I will tell you something about the past and present of Changzhou.　　

In the past Changzhou was very natural and beautiful. There were green hills, blue sky and clean water. Birds like flying happily in the sky. Ducks and fish enjoyed swimming in the lakes. Students went to school by bike or on foot.　　

Things have changed a lot over the years. There are now many new roads, new buildings and a lot more people go to work by car, bus taxi or underground. It is much faster and easier for people to go outside. The changes to Changzhou have brought many advantages, but they have also caused many problems for people. For example, the environment is not as good as before.　　

I hope the government can take action to solve this problem and we will work harder and harder to make our city more beautiful.

Changzhou is my hometown. 　　

Changzhou used to be a small and quiet place. In the past people lived in low and old houses. The roads were narrow. People could only come to Changzhou by bikes or on foot. There were also fewer parks for people to play.　　

Things have changed a lot over the years. Now, there are many tall buildings around Changzhou and most of people have lived into the new flats. There are many new roads and lots of cars going across them. People can go exercising or walking in beautiful parks, such as Phoneme Park, Qingfeng Park and so on. People are pleased with the changes.　　

I like Changzhou very much and I think people should work harder to make our hometown more modern and beautiful.

My hometown　　

Changzhou is my hometown. Changzhou used to a quiet and old place. There were a lot of fields, fresh air and clean drinking water in the past. Most people worked hard in the field but they always got a little money.　　

But now, things have changed a lot. Changzhou has been a modern place. A lot of people have worked in the factory. They have become richer. The government has turned many fields into tall buildings, like shopping mall. The changes have brought many advantages and they have also caused many problems. The factories used to dump its waste into the river. The river has got dark and small. Later the government realized it was a very serious problem and took action to reduce the pollution. 　　

Most young people feel happy because the changes to Changzhou have brought them a modern like life. In some ways, I like it.  However, I often miss the past of Changzhou because I can’t play in the fields and there are too many buildings.
